Dubai’s latest haute hotspot, 99 Sushi Bar at The Address Hotel Downtown, has launched its extravagant Friday brunch from 1pm to 5pm. Translating to ‘luxury’, the Zeitaku brunch starts from a noticeable Dh399 per person but comprises 11 courses of signature dishes including a tempting array of nigiri, tuna specialties and sushi – all served at the table plate by plate.

Birria meaning “exquisite savoury dish, full of culture and tradition” is the epitome of Mexican street food and Maiz Tacos is bringing it to our doorstep. Originating from the state of Jalisco, Maiz Tacos keeps it traditional giving you the option of customary slow cooked beef. The taco shell is stuffed with meat, loaded with cheese and toasted giving it the perfect crunchy snap. Served with beef broth on the side to dip and slurp, get stuck into this Mexican delight for Dh55 at the JLT eatery.

All-you-can-eat dim sum
Available throughout the week for the duration of October, noodlers dining at The Noodle House at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Nakheel Mall, or JBR The Walk can opt for the ‘all-you-can-eat’ dim sum menu for just Dh59. With 10 varieties of dumplings and rolls, feast on hand-rolled purple yam spring rolls, vegetable and chicken spring rolls, and fried chicken pockets. In addition to the rolls, a number of dim sum favourites are on offer including prawn hargao, chicken siew mai, crystal shrimp dumplings, and edamame and truffle dumplings.
Ba, or ‘Boldly Asian’ at Fairmont The Palm is going to become your go-to place for top notch Asian cuisine. With culinary inspirations from Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan, everything in this menu is homemade.Executive Chef, Anup Pawar, brings you audacious dishes from the homemade signature Japanese ramen noodles, to the Taiwanese hand-rolled pan fried buns and bold additions like beef tartare with Asian pears, puffed quinoa, and homemade seaweed crackers. It is now open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner reservations from 6pm to midnight.
