We wonder what the elusive Aditya Chopra must be going through right now. The same guy who is reportedly so media-shy that people used to wonder whether Aditya Chopra really exists. Rani Mukherjee, who married him early this year, was recently quoted as saying in an interview with The Times Of India, that; “Aditya tells me ‘I was born to love you’; “I just want to spoil you”; “Take this money, go and splurge”. A different picture of Aditya has emerged from the interview, no doubt, much to the producer’s dismay.

Rani’s temper tantrums has often resulted in a testy relationship with the media. But now that her film Mardaani is up for release, looks like the actress is in the mood for some damage control. We sort of feel bad for the ‘very private’ Aditya Chopra. We would have preferred to know him as a mysterious man than learn all these intimate details about him.

Aditya Chopra to direct SRK again?

More about Aditya Chopra. We hear that he will be directing Shah Rukh Khan once again for a film that is slated to release during mid 2016. The duo worked together for the first time in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), following which they did projects like Mohabbatein (2000) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). It is being reported that either Madhuri Dixit or Kajol will be approached for the character of the leading lady. We can’t wait to see the magic onscreen again.

Waiting for Vidya

She is a great actor and among the very few heroines in Bollywood who can hold a movie on her own. But sadly enough of late Vidya Balan’s career seems to be jinxed. The woman who gave power packed performances and box office hits like Ishqiya (2010), The Dirty Picture (2011) and Kahaani (2012) is going through a low phase in her professional life. Her last three films Ghanchakkar (2013), Shaadi Ke Side Effects (2014) and Bobby Jasoos (2014) did not create any buzz at the box office. Most of the top filmmakers these days are busy pursuing the likes of Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. Currently Vidya has only one project in hand, Hamari Adhuri Kahani with director Mohit Suri. We hope that the actress bounces back soon, because a talent like her is needed on the big screen.

The actor seems to be on a different league altogether. Kaminey (2009) directed by Vishal Bharadwaj was a game changer in Shahid Kapoor’s career. Post Kaminey, the actor and the director had a fall out because of Shahid’s arrogance. After giving back-to-back flops, Shahid made up with Vishal and the two joined hands for the director’s ambitious project Haider. We hear that Tabu and Shraddha Kapoor will be singing in this film.
