rakhiNow if you are already beginning to think that this is yet another copy on the way sibling duos of Bollywood would be celebrating the day, you are surely headed in the wrong direction. Come on, we don't really need to do that when we have a Rakhi Sawant in the industry, the sexy itm girl who has a common link with this auspicious day. After all, she gets her first name from this day itself.

It must be well remembered that the girl who shot to fame with her seductive movements in the Pardesiya number is no pardesi herself. Like most Indian girls, she is as much game for Bandhans, be it Rakhi or whatever.

So what if for some reason or the other, her Bandhans always make headlines and mostly for the wrong reasons too. Not many, we can swear, have still got over that famous lip 'Bandhan', or should we say kiss ka kissa with singer Mika and the drama that followed aftermath.

However, that doesn't mean that there is no sister material in her. When it comes to Rakhi, she quite plays the ideal sister. She is as much upbeat and enthusiastic about Raksha Bandhan as are most other women on this day.

In fact, last year she did indulge in quite a bit of shopping for her brother Rakesh. Her excitement was apparent as she got to choose from a wide range of rakhis finally zeroing in on Krrish and Superman rakhis for her brother. The reason was obvious. She wanted her brother to be as powerful as the two Supermen so that he would give her total protection and security. And no, she didn't forget his favourite ladoos either and spent quite a bit of time in taking her pick.

But when we decided to look around to see if there were men in the entertainment industry who would willingly have a rakhi tied around his wrist by the bombshell Rakhi, there were very few takers. The very mention of Rakhi Sawant as his sister had veejay Cyrus Sahukar shrieking and running for cover. That would indeed be a very tall order for sure.

A very tough Bandhan indeed. Each year we would have her cooking up something on the lines of Mika. And having to battle men like her would not be that easy. Being roped in a brotherly Bandhan with Rakhi would mean that I have to keep wearing a helmet all the time, he laughs. Funnyman Mir bursts into laughter when he says, If Rakhi were to tie a thread round my wrist, I would become Gulzar. I really can't protest if someone were to pounce on her because I don't see anything wrong in what they are doing. So, no way. Looks like Rakhi's fate is hanging by a thread; a sacred one, we bet. Question is, who wants to be tied down?
