The Housemate is in again

At his post-eviction Press conference, Kian, with his natural charm and gift for gab, had the media eating out of the palm of his hand. But just when he was starting to really enjoy life outside the Pinoy Big Brother house, Kian learned that he was being sent back in. Kian and three other ex-housemates—Zeke Dimaguila, Jasmin Engracia and Wendy Valdez—were chosen to take part in a “Balik-Bahay” challenge where they would go back into the house, but only two of them would be voted in by the public to stay and get a second chance to become housemates.

In the end, the public’s choice was Kian, and model and singer Wendy Valdez, who are still in the house as of this writing.

One of the people that Kian missed when he was evicted was fellow housemate Gee-Ann Abrahan. Kian admitted, during his press conference, that he had a crush on Gee-Ann, an Advertising student of Assumption College. He even gave her a bracelet, which was one of the items he was allowed to bring into the house the first time. He was told to give it to the housemate he felt closest to, and Kian chose Gee-Ann. “She was the one who really welcomed me [with open arms],” he recalls. “I admit, I like her. She’s really girlfriend material.”

Well, maybe now that he’s been voted back into the house a second time, Kian will get another chance to make his feelings known to Gee-Ann. But Kian isn’t one to force the issue. If rumors [that she has a boyfriend] are to be believed, he would rather not do anything out of respect to Gee-Ann and her relationship.

Kian bemoans the fact that people sometimes tend to think of him as a bad boy because of what he’s been through in the past. He was not allowed to march during his high school graduation, but that—and the other mistakes of his youth—are all in the past, says Kian. “I may be a bad boy on the outside, but on the inside, I’m a Romeo,” he grins.

Kian knows that in showbusiness, it’s impossible to please everyone, and that there will be people who will love him, and some who will hate him. “There will be lovers and haters,” he says. “As far as I’m concerned, I’ll just concentrate on the people who love me.”
