She's only 20 years old and nowhere near tying the knot, but Anne Curtis says that when the time comes for her to get married and start a family, she wouldn't mind becoming a mother soon after.
Anne, who has been linked to Oyo Boy Sotto and Luis Manzano, is currently dating Paolo Araneta, brother of model and actress Bianca Araneta. Although they were recently rumoured to have broken up, Anne says that on the contrary, all is well between her and Paolo, and between her and Paolo's family.
But Anne and Paolo-who is almost 10 years her senior-are not getting married, at least not yet.
"I'm only 20 years old, and I still have so many personal goals," she says.
One of those goals is to finish her studies, something she promised her father. She'd also like to travel and see the world. Career-wise, one of her immediate plans is to win an acting award.
She's not rushing anything, though. As far as the acting award is concerned, she knows that will come, in time.
While her schedule is relatively lighter now that Kampanerang Kuba — where she played the title role — has finished its run, she and Paolo still find themselves having to work their couple time into her schedule, since she is the busier one.
She considers herself lucky that her boyfriend Paolo is very supportive.
It's a difficult life, but as Anne puts it, "It's all about loving what you do. If you don't love what you do, you won't last long in this business."
"I also want to become a young mom, that's why I don't want to marry too late, like when I'm in my 30s," concludes Anne.
