The youth studio team is making waves at the mall with its own crew of reporters and cameramen reporting live. The Al Ghurair studio, a stage erected on the ground floor of the Mall is a hub of activity with the broadcasting of the Knowledge Surprises events live on E-vision channel 333 along with the main studio at the Deira City Centre.

Curious visitors, many of them non-Muslims, stop over at the Holy Quran Booth where books and CD's on Islam are handed out free to the public. The Holy Quran Booth organised by the Islamic Information Centre in collaboration with the Dubai Police and the Higher Colleges of Technology is also conducting a competition for visitors of other faiths.

Cross Roads, an edutainment event for children has now been relocated from the BurJuman to Al Ghurair City. The event that is held on the stage on the ground floor is full of tips on traffic and walking regulations on roads and streets and hopes to encourage children in observing road rules through a series of fun games and competitions. With the theme of Knowledge Surprises, Al Ghurair brings to visitors a great host of interesting and fun science activities. Science Knowledge which comprises of 10 interactive games for children is hosted on the first floor of the mall. In the series of Science Knowledge, Loop the Loop is a game enjoyed by children of all ages that challenges the child's concentration skills, while Reaction Timer helps the child push the limits of speed, skill and concentration. This game composes of a screen and coloured control buttons where the player's reaction time is measured with each corresponding ‘hit’ with the button.
