Stylish musician and singer Isam Karika has been winning young hearts with his funny video clips. Armed with a special charisma he has been basking in the sun, even as he continues to dream... Excerpts from an interview.

What do you prefer to be known as, as musician- or singer-Isam Karika?

I don't know. But I'm not a singer. All my clips like a lovely drama with light singing. But I am also proud that I'm a musician.

Tell us about the latest clip?

It's packed with funny songs, one of the most lovely songs is "The Summer This Year" I think most of the audience will love it.

Do you think that the clips of naughty boy very close with your real character?

I love every thing new. All my clips express feelings that are there in those who are of a young age, like my clip 'The Girls and I'. It's a lovely song that explains the feelings that a young boy ha about girls. It also gives the girls the advice on what should be done when they fall in the love.

Do you think that the clips succeeded to take you from the music?

Really harmony and intuition need a lot of time. I think nowadays I am very busy with the clips but after I finished I will return to my first happy 'harmony'.

What is the new character that you have presented in your new clip?

It is the character of a funny teacher in class and about children in the class. It's a really amazing character.

Describe 'Isam Karika' in three words?

Stylish, naughty and friendly.

What are your future plans?

Come out with more successful clips

What sort of difficulties did you face, if any?

Success comes with struggle. In the field of arts, it a mix of happiness and the hard road.

I think in the beginning, people were very surprised with my naughty clips but now they find them very lovely.

What skills are needed to become a successful musician?

You must be very confident, and talented. Success is a gift from God.
