‘Spice’ up your New Year
DJ VKey has worked the party circuit in India exhaustively. In the metropolis of Bombay alone he has played at multiple notorious nightclubs such as ‘Enigma’, ‘Poison’ and ‘Club Escape’.
“I’ve recently played ‘Rock Bottom’ in Bombay. I also frequent Hyderabad and Bangalore,” enthuses the proclaimed ‘Mix Master’ DJ.
He has also competed and acquired the trophy for the DMC World Mixing Championship in 2000 (a reputed DJ-ing competition in India) at the infamous ‘Fire and Ice’ club in Lower Parel, Bombay
DJ VKey recently launched his first-ever album, ‘Audiograph’, made popular by much-played track, ‘Madhoshian’. “My debut album features singer, Jatin Sharma, who also worked on ‘Jalwa’. I’m currently working on my second album, ‘Audiograph 2’ which will launch in Feburary. It’s got Punjabi, Marathi, Hip-Hop and even some Electro-House tracks, ” enlists DJ VKey. The video track for the album will be sung by Zubinder of ‘Ya Ali’ fame.
And now DJ VKey graces Dubai with his talented self on New Year’s Eve at ‘Jimmy Dix’. For his first time ever in the city of Dubai, the DJ promises party goers a rather special performance; “I will be playing Bollywood remixes that I’ve done myself. I will also play some tribal, house and hip-hop. Hopefully, the club will be packed!”
Accompanying him will be DJ AJ and RJ/DJ Bunty from Radio Spice 105.4. With three brilliant DJs thrown into the mix, the night promises to be a grand way to celebrate the New Year’s Eve.
