Spa come true for Shilpa
Buzz has it that Shilpa has invested her own money in this enterprise unlike other ventures such as a production house and a cricket team where beau Raj Kundra has helped her financially.
The first salon will open at a suburban five- star hotel. She will also host a party on March 10 at the Royal Rendezvous to celebrate her partnership in Rajasthan Royals, the IPL team in which she and Raj Kundra have a 12 per cent stake, and the opening of her spa.
The medi-spas will have skin specialists and doctors to take care of everything ranging from acne and anti-aging remedies to Botox. The doctors will also provide consultations on weight related issues. The spa has space for yoga and holistic treatments. According to a close source, Shilpa’s aim through this venture is to help women take care of their beauty and health.
A close friend of Shilpa says that it was Shilpa’s dream to own a spa or salon even before she became an actress. Her friend adds that not many know that Shilpa herself is a qualified beautician. We believe that this Shetty lass truly has the potential to realise her dreams be it acting, yoga CD’s, hosting a reality show (Bigg Boss), having a stake in an IPL team and now a chain of medi-spas.
