now DJ Kraft Kuts will be here in Dubai for one house-breaking night at the Tangerine in The Fairmont Hotel on August 18.
While signed to FSUK, one of the Ministry of Sound's offshoot record labels, Krafty Kuts released 3 EP's to critical acclaim, along with ‘Gimme the Funk’; a one-off release for Fatboy Slim's label, Southern Fried. The success of these releases led to Krafty Kuts becoming one of the most in demand remixers within the UK dance music scene.
“The international DJ scene in Dubai is growing at a tremendous pace and Star H is proud to be a major contributor to these events,” said Sandeep Walunj, Head of Marketing, Sirocco, “Dubai dance lovers better get ready for some amazing sounds.” Today, the list of people Krafty Kuts has remixed reads like an A-List, including the likes of Jurassic 5, Utah Saints, Arthur Baker, Eric B and Rakim and the classic ‘Humanoid’ by Stakker Humanoid.
More recently, Krafty Kuts completed a ‘killer remix’ for Deepcut and still found time to DJ all over the world. He has also been working on his much anticipated artist album, due for release in early 2006. His debut solo album features collaborations with Tim Deluxe, Freq Nasty and the Scratch Perverts, among others. In the words of Krafty himself, “the album is going to be a monster.”
