SECURITY EXPERTS MEET

The Comprehensive Security Strategic Plan, which was devised by the UAE Ministry of Interior to be implemented in the police departments of all emirates, was discussed yesterday during a meeting held at the Ajman Police Department.

The meeting was attended by top officials from the Ministry of Interior, security experts, and directors of police departments of all emirates.

Speaking to City Times, Lieutenant Colonel Mattar Al Shamsi, Head of the Planning and Development Section of Ajman Police, said the meeting discussed methods of following up the implementation of the strategy in all departments and ways of preparing monthly reports which should detail the work plan of each department to execute the main strategic plan. He pointed out that already, the reports on the work plan of some departments proved the progress and development of police duties and services that aimed at providing stability, security and peace to the public.

Lt. Col. Al Shamsi said that the comprehensive strategic plan aims at maintaining a unified and organised framework in all police departments in the country, considered one of the safest in the world. The main objectives of the strategy include intensifying efforts to maintain security for all those who live in the UAE, enhancing the quality of police performance and services, developing methods of work to cope with the rapid development in the country.
