Saif booked for assault
Saif Ali Khan has been booked for allegedly assaulting a man after a heated argument at a Japanese restaurant in south Mumbai, police said.
The victim, Iqbal Sharma, approached the cops on Tuesday night claiming that he was attacked by Saif and his friends, during which, he was punched by the actor, senior PI of Colaba police station Vinod Sawant reported, adding that the 41-year-old actor is likely to be arrested.
The victim claimed that he was having dinner with his family members in Wasabi restaurant in Colaba, while the actor and his friends were sitting at the next table, police said.
Sharma stated that he had objected to the loud talk by Saif and his friends. When he pointed it out to them, the actor and his friends got enraged, and, following a heated argument, attacked him.
