Not only has Kaushik sung praises of the musician-turned-actor (in public), he has also postponed 'Tere Sang' starring newcomer Ruslan Mumtaz (of Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai fame).
As we know it, the shooting of 'Tere Sang' is complete and only a few shots are left. But sadly, Kaushik is too busy with 'Karzzzz' to take out even a few days for 'Tere Sang' yet. When we asked Ruslan about the status, he confirmed, "Yes we still haven't finished the shooting. It is at least 95per cent finished and there are just a few sequences left which shouldn't take more than three to four days." We probed a bit further and asked him why the shooting was kept on hold and he let the cat out of the bag without realising it. "Well, Kaushik ji is busy with 'Karzzzz' so the shooting is held up. But as soon as he gets time, we will wrap up the shooting. It should not take long," said he.
That's not it. Here is the irony. We obviously had to ask Kaushik about the matter but he contradicted and said plainly, "The shooting has been completed. 'Karzzzz' is just starting but we have finished shooting for 'Tere Sang'." On one hand poor Ruslan is waiting till Kaushik takes out time from Himesh and Kaushik on the other hand bluntly claims that the shooting has been done. Maybe it is Himesh's glory that has the director awed so much that he has forgotten the three days of shooting that his smaller film needs.
Ruslan is still positive and says that they expect a summer release of the film. Said the actor, "I'm sure we should be done in the next one month or so. Can't say exactly when though."
Ruslan you are new in the industry. Himesh's tunes are probably stronger than yours. Kaushik is busy dancing to that for now. Wait till he is done.
