Ranbir woos Deepika

He can’t stand the growing friendship between Deepika and Shahid Kapoor. Rumour has it that when Ranbir heard that Shahid is trying every trick in the book to woo Deepika, the latter just couldn’t help feeling jealous.

Ranbir has been constantly messaging Deepika to forgive and forget what he did to her.

“When Ranbir said that the relationship was over, Deepika took it with dignity. Even though she was extremely hurt she never spoke about this in public. But now she is being inundated with apologies and take-me-back text messages from Ranbir. He might be feeling lonely and now that he’s got a whiff of Shahid’s ploys to impress Deepika, he just can’t stand it. Did he think about her when he went philandering with Katrina?” asks a friend of Deepika.

Even though the main reason for the Ranbir-Deepika split was Katrina Kaif, Ranbir never wanted a serious relationship with Kat. The reason was obviously Salman Khan. The actor had earlier thrashed Ranbir when he made a pass at Salman’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai. So Ranbir knows it is in his best interest to keep away from Salman’s girl.

There is also talk about Shahid reconciling with Priyanka Chopra. Even though it was Priyanka who had dumped Shahid, our sources say that she’s still fond of him. Even Priyanka’s parents adore Shahid and they feel that he’s a well mannered boy. Apparently Deepika and all his latest link-ups (Anushka Sharma) are distractions to help him cope with Priyanka’s exit from his life.

Only time will tell if Deepika and Ranbir will get back together or whether she and Shahid will make a pair.
