The concluding ceremony was attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and his brother Shaikh Rashid (sons of the Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi). Shaikh Mohammed and Shaikh Rashid had honoured 141 artistes and actors who took part in the festival.

The chairman of the festival, Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, delivered a speech in which he praised the participants. His speech was followed by a report on the plays staged at the theatre and the recommendations to upgrade the standard of the festival. Read out by the artiste Hatim Al Sayyid, the report said the plays were accurate and their subject matters addressed important issues. Women figured prominently at the festival, and they appeared in the many works presented by several directors, actors and writers.
