Monica on a divine mission
Monica Bedi feels it is her faith that helped her tide over tough times in jail, after being deported from Portugal along with mobster Abu Salem.
The Bollywood actress is now recording a devotional music album Ek Omkaar on chants from the Sikh holy book Guru Granth Sahib.
Monica has had no professional training in singing.
“ I never ever thought that I would sing on an album one day. But more than singing, this album is about chanting God’s prayers and saying his words and I have sung it from my heart,” Monica said.
Monica, who was last seen on reality show Bigg Boss 2, began recording for the 40-minute album in Mumbai last week.
