SHILPA SHETTY has finally found the man of her dreams and the one person who’s happiest is mum Sunanda Shetty. Shilpa recently publicly admitted that she’s dating UK based 30-year-old NRI Raj Kundra and has also been spotted wearing a huge diamond ring. Sources confirm that she has said yes and the two had an exchange of rings very recently. Mama Shetty who is a palm reader had predicted that Shilpa’s fame would come from across the seas and it did though Big brother. She had also predicated that Shilpa would settle down after becoming internationally famous. So when Shilpa started dating Raj, Mama Shetty encouraged her daughter knowing that this was a relationship made in heaven.

Kundra is currently in India planning a huge birthday party for Shilpa’s younger sister Shamita. A source close to the Shetty’s reveals, “Shilpa is madly in love with someone after a long time. In the past she has suffered a lot of heartbreak. Even her parents like Raj a lot; she is definitely thinking marriage in the very near future.”

Over the last few years Shilpa’s mum has been frantically searching for a groom for her older daughter, who’s career wasn’t doing well and who had suffered a total heart-break when Akshay Kumar ditched her and married Twinkle Khanna. Shilpa’s link-up with politician Milind Deora also ended in heart-break, making Sunanda Shetty all the more frantic. But when Big Brother fell into her lap it not only changed her professional life but also her personal.

In 2007, Shilpa became busy with her international projects. She launched a perfume brand S2, a Yoga DVD and recently concluded a play titled Miss Bollywood. We’ll let you into a little known secret! Kundra has had a role to play in all her projects; he’s financed them all.

Shilpa and Kundra also spent the New Year together with Shilpa’s family in Las Vegas earlier this month, so it won’t be shocking if Shilpa decides to ditch her non-existent Bollywood career and settle down with Kundra in the UK.

Shilpa was introduced to Kundra by her international agent Farhath Hussain, with a proposal to launch her perfume, the duo clicked, became friends and were dating soon after. Says Shilpa “Last year was crazy, it’s nice to have someone who cares about me so much. I’m always travelling and it gets lonely but it’s always good to come back to someone.”

Love also seems to have sobered the actress, who has patched up with ex-boyfriend Akshay Kumar. The duo came face to face recently on a flight to Sahara City. They exchanged greetings and were polite to each other.

The London based millionaire Kundra, who has stolen Shilpa’s heart, has multiple businesses. He owns RK Collections, that import luxury clothing to international fashion houses, a film distribution company that produced the Jimmy Shergill Film Strangers and is the director of UK Tradecorp, a multi-million pound trading company that designs and exports diamonds. Did Shilpa’s gorgeous rock come from there?

It maybe recalled that in 2007 Kundra’s ex-wife, Kavita, had accused Shilpa of breaking her marriage and taking away a father from his new-born daughter. Shilpa had contemplated suing her but stopped after Kundra publicly apologised, “My wife has made an accusation that Shilpa was the reason for our break-up which is a lie. I had no association with Shilpa at the time of our separation.”
