Head to Bur Dubai this weekend for another Rock Nation live music night
Dust off your leather jacket and brace your ears for a beating – Rock Nation is back for its first show of 2010 tonight.
Four local bands will convene on The Music Room, situated in Bur Dubai’s Majestic Hotel, for a night of sweat and scuzzed-up rock and roll.
Behold the Locus are a five-piece who have already been gigging around Dubai with their style of rock firmly on the poppier end of the spectrum, while Sandwash are an established name on the local circuit with their fun-filled and high-octane sets.
Also appearing are B-Grade, an offshoot of Dubai rock outfit Point of View, who will be playing a mix of original and classic covers. Finally, rounding off the programme will be Universal Rogue, recently featured on the front cover of City Times.
And if you fancy hopping on stage but don’t possess the musical chops, you can always register on the night to participate in an air guitar competition. We’ll start practising now…
