KBC RETURNS TO THE REGION'S AIR WAVES

The wait is over. Friday August 5th, saw the launch of KBC2 in India. The entire nation had waited for Amitabh Bachchan & KBC 2 on Star Plus.

Starting today, the second edition of the show that became an international phenomenon, Kaun Banega Crorepati 2 (KBC 2) episode 1 will air on Star Plus in the Middle East.

"We are very excited to bring this show to our loyal STAR Plus viewers in the Middle East. The transmission dates had to be pushed forward by a week for the Middle East due to unavoidable circumstances. However, I'm sure our viewers will be extremely thrilled to know that they can enjoy the sheer excitement that only Amitabh Bachan can bring to this programme. The first episode of KBC2 will air in the Middle East from today and we are working towards catching up with the India telecast within the next few weeks. This will mean that Middle East will soon be watching the same episode as India", said Saadia Bokhari, Deputy General manager, STAR Middle East Ltd.

KBC2 will air on Fridays, Saturday's and Sunday's in the Middle East at 19:30 (UAE time) on STAR Plus. There will be no repeats of the show.

While crorepatis will walk away with the mega bucks, the viewers who loved and enjoyed the game show from the confines of their homes now can also play and win. Rush in your answers before the episode ends (that's when the right answer will be announced) to either the MTNL/BSNL landline 1904 424 7827 followed by the option number (01 or 02 or 03 or 04) or SMS 'KBC' to 646 followed by the option number (01 or 02 or 03 or 04). Through a Random Computer Draw the winner of the day will be selected. This winner will get Rs. 2 lakhs for participating in the Har Seat Hot Seat.
