Kat who got the cream

SHE MAY not have delivered a power-packed performance on the silver screen yet but Katrina Kaif is sure making news on the filmi front.

Her Hindi has improved, she sizzles in item numbers and she is even bagging creamy roles opposite all the right people in the industry. Tell her that she looked good with Akshay and she is quick to tell you, “Oh, I don’t know about that but I’m okay with the idea of working with other actors. I want to make new pairs too. I’m open to new things and want to keep reinventing. Adi’s films are different, they have a Yashraj sensibility to them. They are made in a particular way that blends Indian sensibilities with modern ethos and that is what I find appealing. And I’m still very young and want to do all youthful roles.”

She is also making a guest appearance in Atul Agnihotri’s film Hello with Salman Khan. How is their chemistry as co-actors? “We had a lot of fun on the sets. Salman is a whole lot of fun to work with. This is a short appearance and we shot for the scenes in Karjat,” says she. While the gossipmongers don’t stop talking about her and Salman, they recently dragged her sister Isabelle into the fold too, saying that she is soon going to sign a film. Kat clarifies, “She is very young and still in school.”
