Kat gives sleepless nights to Deepika

But Deepika, we hear, is in no mood to listen. She has heard rumours of how Ranbir and Katrina are hitting it off like a house on fire. How they are seen giggling and chatting even after completing their shooting for the day, and going for walks in the forests of Ooty. To Ranbir, Katrina is just a good friend and co-star say insiders, but in Bollywood you can never be sure of anything.

A source close to Deepika reveals that she’s nervous that Ranbir may fall for Katrina’s innocent charms. “Katrina is a nice, friendly and sweet girl and so all the guys like her. She shares a good rapport will all her male co-stars and Deepika fears that Ranbir may fall for Katrina’s charms. After all, Katrina has been proven to be the most ‘googled’ actress and voted to be the sexiest Asian. Deepika fears that Ranbir too may fall for Katrina with all the hype surrounding her. After all did one not hear rumours of Katrina and Akshay Kumar? One even heard rumours that Twinkle had forbidden Akshay to do any more films with Katrina. Everyone knows that Katrina and Salman are having issues over Katrina’s career and co-stars. Many suspect that the couple may just be on the verge of a break up. So naturally Deepika is nervous that Katrina may fall for the young, hot and happening Ranbir.”

This isn’t the first time that Deepika has shown signs of insecurity and jealousy; few months ago Deepika had stopped Ranbir from signing a film opposite his former girlfriend Sonam Kapoor. Ranbir and Sonam who were rumoured to be dating while working together in Saawariya had broken up but continued to be good friends. Soon Ranbir started dating Deepika and one of the first things that his new girlfriend demanded was that he sever all communication with Sonam. A dedicated boyfriend that Ranbir was, he broke all ties with Sonam. He even stopped taking Sonam’s calls.

So will Ranbir break his friendship with Katrina to please his girlfriend Deepika? Our source close to Ranbir reveals, “Ranbir is a very friendly guy and he’s very fond of Katrina. They both are of the same age group and they love to hang out. In fact Ranbir is good friends with Katrina’s younger sister Isabella as well and the three of them are often seen dining together. However, Deepika doesn’t approve of this friendship.”

Our source says that Deepika fears that Ranbir could leave her for Katrina, “Katrina is good looking and a fun girl to hang out with. She isn’t manipulative and doesn’t play games, she doesn’t believe in warming up to her male actors and playing favourites with her male co-stars. It is a well-known fact that Deepika at present is playing up to Akshay Kumar (which did upset Rabir). People say that Deepika is a very shrewd girl. She knows which side her bread is buttered. After Om Shanti Om she kept in regular touch with SRK via sms saying how much she missed working with him, but she completely ignored Farah Khan who was the one responsible for signing her.”

Apparently, Deepika also fears that her past with Nihar and Yuvraj may also affect her relationship with Ranbir. “

Deepika has had her share of fun, she was with Nihar but ditched him for the more popular Yuvraj Singh; at one point her affections were torn between Ranbir and Yuvraj, she also flirted with MS Dhoni but finally ditched all of them for Ranbir. So naturally she is scared that Ranbir may fall for the sweet and sexy Katrina who has had only one boyfriend to her name…Salman.”
