The Sheraton lads were in full cry against a strong and determined Grosvenor House Hotel A football team defeating them by four goals to two. Prior to this game Grosvenor were leading the standings with Sheraton Dubai Creek in third position and Le Meridien Al Aqa in second place. Henry of Sheraton opened the scoring with a well taken goal after receiving a split pass from George Kamel. George himself added to the tally scoring an opportunist goal to take a two nil lead at half time. In the second half Grosvenor regrouped and fought back scoring two quick goals to level the scores.

Minguel scored the first after Antonio did the spadework. Sebastian scored the second goal after a solo run from the centerline. Both teams played fast attacking soccer and Henry of Sheraton pounced on a loose ball to give his team a three- two lead.

Grosvenor tried their level best to equalize but Sheraton wrapped up the match on a counter attack for Henry to score from close range. Minguel.

Agio and Rolland played well for the Grosvenor team while George Kamel, Henry Curtis, Amir Ayed and Nagy Aziz were instrumental in Sheraton's victory. In the second match Le Royal Meridien A team defeated a helpless Grosvenor House B team by six goals to nil. Minguel and Remy scored a brace each while Melwyn and Siddarth completed the scoring for the Meridien team to finish the game on a high note.

Tek Gurung, Joel Almeida, Bijendra Thakuri and Robin Pariyar played well for the Grosvenor team but could not avoid the defeat. A rejuvenated Jebel Ali International Hotel football team held Millenium Airport Hotel in an exciting 2-2 draw. Terry Scott gave the Millenium team a first half lead with a solo goal. Jebel Ali fought back for experienced Brian to score a gem of a goal to put his team on level terms. Abrary Abdul Kadir gave the Millenium team the lead for the second time on resumption of the second half. However Jonas of Jebel Ali had other ideas and equalized almost immediately. Both teams went in search of the elusive equaliser but failed to find the net.

Millenium climbed to third position after the draw while Jebel Ali International Hotel climbed to fifth position in the fourteen team league.
