Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, whose ambitious project Paani with Sushant Singh Rajput was shelved, on Saturday shared a research still from the futuristic film on Twitter.
He wrote, "Shot 12 years ago. Part of huge bank of #Paani research pics/illustrations. The film script is about a future city where the wealthy take all the water. And then use water as a weapon of political and social control. It's a cautionary tale of what's coming if we're not careful."
The film, in the making for a very long time, was reportedly shelved when Yash Raj Films backed out of producing the project.
Recently, Shekhar shared that if the film ever got made, he would dedicate it to Sushant.
