She never expected to be a well-known actress. Yet today, Isabel is considered one of the most beautiful in the industry. The stunning beauty first captured the public's attention when she played Isabel in "Sugo," the role which she says is her favourite.

"I really like doing drama," she said. "And aside from that I can somehow identify with Isabel's character — simple, patient and gentle. And romantic!" she adds with a giggle. Because of her impressive performance, Isabel is slated to appear in more GMA-7 shows in the months to come.

But acting isn't the only thing that's keeping her busy. "At the moment, I'm first focusing on acting. But I'm also exploring a singing career," Isabel divulges. "Hopefully either this year or next, I'll be able to have my own album."

Despite her busy schedule, Isabel makes sure to bond with her family. Her parents and sisters are based in Singapore, which is why she's been there last May. "I've stayed there for almost a month. It has become a tradition for the whole family to gather there every summer."

An ever-dutiful daughter, Isabel also made sure to take the time out to take care of her family. "Especially since my dad was hospitalised last April, I really wanted to be there with him to take good care of him," she added.
