Isabel, Paolo back in each other's arms

ISABEL OLI and Paolo Contis are back in each other‚s arms. It will be recalled that, after Polo Ravales-Ara Mina and Alfred Vargas-LJ Reyes, the next GMA sweethearts to cool off were Paolo and Isabel.

"I was in the Middle East for three weeks," he says. He joined a cruise to the region where he did a celebrity basketball game with Antonio Aquitania and Benjie Paras.

"When I returned home, I asked her if she dated anyone while I was gone. She told me that she didn't, then she asked if I dated anyone while we were not seeing each other. I said no. So, there, we reconciled."

Paolo underwent Smart Lipo at Dr. Vicky Belo's Morato St. clinic in Quezon City recently. Paolo was not in such a bad shape, but he says he really gained weight.

"I didn't have time to work out as I'm in three shows: Asian Treasure, Who's Your Daddy Now? and Fantastic Man. It was really all work, followed by lots of eating. When I was in the Middle East, I also ate a lot. So what happened was, my waist became full with lots of what we call 'love handles.'"

Recalling their split, Paolo says that he and Isabel "didn't really have any serious problem in their relationship and they didn't quarrel at all." Adds he: „We just didn't have enough time for each other."

Meanwhile, Isabel says she does not mind not fulfilling her plan to get married at 24. She is now 25 while Paolo just turned 23. They found out that there are more things to discover and tying the knot can wait.
