"Believe it or not, sometimes it would take me as long as five hours to reply to them because we were busy taping," says Isabel.

Now that the series has ended, Isabel is learning to re-adjust. With so much free time on her hands now, she not only answers text messages promptly, she even has time to go to the gym and work out.

She has also accepted the offer to be the official celebrity endorser of Myra-E Facial Moisturiser. As the product's new endorser, Isabel has a one-year contract to appear in billboards and print ads. Some of them have already sprouted along major thoroughfares in Metro Manila.

The people behind the product saw her on Sugo. "They wanted a fresh face artista [who's a star], and they called me after seeing me on the show," says Isabel.

Because of the billboards and the exposure she got on Sugo — not to forget being cast as Piolo Pascual's childhood friend in the Max's fried chicken TV commercial — Isabel has become an instantly recognisable face.

It's also made her quite popular. Isabel confesses that right now, she has four suitors, some of whom are from showbiz and some who are not. She's flattered by the attention, but right now, she's too focused on her career to fall in love.

In fact, Isabel chose to be based in Manila, away from her family in Singapore, just so she could take advantage of all the career opportunities coming her way.

"I love what I'm doing. I'm really enjoying myself even if sometimes, I get no rest,” says Isabel.

Isabel also still has a lot of dreams and goals she set out to accomplish. She wants to buy a house for her family and a house of her own.

With a lot of hard work, Isabel knows that her dreams are well within reach.
