Is Salman turning over a new leaf?
The buzz in the industry is that Salman is doing his best to change over a new leaf. His latest passion, painting has calmed him down and made him realise that he needs to keep friends in the industry.
He got his chance while shooting for Veer at Film City. Salman heard that his old buddy -turned -foe, Sanjay Dutt was shooting on a set nearby. Salman took the initiative and went over to Sanjay’s set to say hello. The Salman-Sanjay friendship goes back in years. They were known as the wild -duo until Sanjay Dutt went to jail. Once he got out, the two drifted apart. When Salman heard that Sanjay had become close to the Bachchans at the time of the Aishwarya-Abhishek wedding, he decided to shun him. This cold war continued. But the two old buddies seems to have finally hugged and made -up.
Next in line was Akshay Kumar who was also shooting at Film City. Akshay had lost his temper with Salman when he heard rumours of Salman flirting with Twinkle at a party. He called up Salman and yelled at him for misbehaving with his wife. Salman who had done no such thing decided to ignore Akshay.
They had been the best of buddies since the days they had worked on their super hit Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. .When Salman came on the sets of Akshay’s De Dhana Dan, it was as if nothing had happened between the two. They are said to have bonded over a meal by discussing their films, Veer and Chandni Chowk to China, their work-outs, their food.
Some say that Salman deliberately made this move so as to gain brownie points with Katrina as their relationship has become very strained over the past few unfortunate incidents. Whatever the reason, Salman has gained two new friends!
