Iconic trance DJ-producer Paul Oakenfold stops off at the Madinat Jumierah this Friday as part of his ‘Four Seasons’ tour.

The British Grammy nominee, 48, made his name co-producing UK number one album Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches (1990) by The Happy Mondays. He was soon remixing for U2, and in the late 90s was twice named DJ Mag’s best DJ in the world.

Among his other work, the Londoner created the famous electro score for reality show Big Brother, and has provided soundtrack music for Hollywood films such as Requiem for a Dream (2000), Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007) and The Bourne Conspiracy (2008).

His new album Pop Killer is out soon, featuring collaborations with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cee Lo Green and Ryan Tedder of One Republic.

Tickets to see the Vegas-based turntablist cost Dhs150 apiece, with doors open from 10pm. See www.trilogy.ae.
