I'm proud of Deepika Padukone: Siddharth Mallya

Siddharth Mallya, who once dated Deepika Padukone, is all praise for the actress. "I am very proud of her and I am very happy for her. May her success continue as it's great to see her doing well," he said.
Deepika has been delivering back to back successful films, including Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Tamasha, Bajirao Mastani among others.
When asked if he is still in touch with Deepika, and he says: "Yes, we see each other here and there and that's it."
Sid and Deepika, who were in a relationship, soon parted ways. However Sid, who is all set to make his acting debut in independent filmmaker Qaushiq Mukherjee's film Brahman Naman, reveals he is in a relationship at the moment.
"I am dating someone, but I am not going to give names because if I start giving names it won't be fair on the girl's part," he said. Brahman Naman will be premiering and competing in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.
Meanwhile his ex Deepika recently said she finds comparisons between her rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh and ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor silly. "It doesn't irritate or anger me, I find it silly, as time and again they have to keep comparing everything. I have other co-stars like Irrfan Khan or Amitabh Bachchan, why not compare them," said the actress. "I have worked with all of them, but we conveniently pick Ranbir and Ranveer. I find it silly to keep comparing people or things," she said.
Ranveer had earlier said he shares a "divine equation" with Deepika.
On being asked what relation she shares with Ranveer, Deepika said, "He is my best friend... He is someone I am extremely comfortable around. I can talk to him anything, I can be whatever I want to be with him."
"He is very non-judgemental. He is very acceptive of the way people are. He is very loving person," she added.
