'I won't work with Dharamji again'

ALONG WITH Dharmendra she formed the most sought-after onscreen couple of yesteryears. But when it comes to sharing screen with her hubby now, actress Hema Malini, quite surprisingly, has a strict 'no' for an answer.

Quashing rumours that she will be seen along with Dharmendra once again in a film, Hema said, "We are not doing any films together and I don't think we will do anything either!" But why is she ruling out future assignments as well? "Well, that's something very personal and we have kind of decided on it. I think you should better ask Dharamji himself rather than quizzing me about this one!" said she. Dharmendra, however, was not reachable for his comments.

It may be noted that Hema Malini has formed a great parent pair with Amitabh Bachchan in the recent years starting with Ravi Chopra's 'Baghban' and then going on to do many films like 'Baabul', 'Veer Zaara' and even the Bhojpuri film 'Ganga'.

Hema Malini also spoke about Esha's marriage. "I think we should let her work as long as she wants. I am not ruling out marriage as every girl has to get married some day and have a family. But right now she is concentrating on her career," said Hema, like any other concerned mother.

In the meantime, the seasoned actress is also concentrating on her political career. When we asked her about Congress chief Sonia Gandhi being declared the second most powerful woman in the world by an international survey, she says that as an Indian and a woman she is proud. But she would reserve her comment as a political rival for later and a more opportune moment.
