YOU LOVE HIS short snippets on YouTube featuring guests playing parlour games and making candid revelations all accompanied by his cheeky-chappie on screen persona. Jimmy Fallon is without doubt the new king of late night talk shows, but here in Dubai we have our very own challenger to the throne. Loubo Siois aims to make The Dubai Talk Show a must-watch event.
On the go for about two months now, the 26-year old Greek national's creation is primarily available to view on YouTube along with four national TV networks around the world.
"We tried to get Kevin Hart to do a Carpool Karaoke with us when he was here," Loubo said referring to James Corden's Late Late Show phenomenon. Hart did not have time in his schedule, but this indicates the direction the talk show aims to take.
"We do 'Kids' Interviews' like on Jimmy Kimmel, segments like 'get a job as a zookeeper' and we've got comedy monologues as well as interviews."
Guests so far have included French band Nouvelle Vague and Hollywood producer Jeff Gomez. Upcoming visitors such as Jacqueline Fernandez, Sunny Leone and DJ Armin Van Buuren are set to be highlights.
Whilst a large spotlight is shone on international guests Loubo says homegrown celebrities including designers, DJs and sportspeople will feature.

Who would be your ideal guest and what would you do with them?
I would love to have Justin Bieber on. I would to the zoo to interact with the tigers. That would be fun.

What brought you to Dubai?
The film City Of Life by Ali Mostafa. I was living in the UK, saw that film and within a week I was here looking for a job. I have now been here five years. Everything just fits well here.

How often is the show produced?
We do one a month at the movement, but we stagger release many short videos out of that one programme throughout that month.
