Guess who's Big B's biggest fan?

In town only to attend the awards, Abhishek flew in from Chennai where he is shooting for Mani Rathnam’s film Guru. A few snippets.

Karan Johar and his big budget films

I don’t think Karan thinks small, he thinks big and he is unapologetic about his cinema and he makes it with full passion and its been great fun working with him.

Working with his father Amitabh Bachchan

Fear is still there. It’s not about comfort when you are working with a legend like him. Dad’s my best friend, always has been and always will be. When you stand up in front of the camera with him you can't look upon him and disrespect him and think of him as a friend. You have to give the man and actor his due as who he is, he is Mr. Bachchan and you have to respect that.

Dance performance he was most looking forward to at the IIFA Awards Nite

I'm very excited to see my little brother Sikander Kher perform, it’s his first stage performance. I am going to be supporting him and screaming for him. I am terribly excited to see Duggu (Hrithik Roshan) dance. I think he's the best dancer in the industry, he’s a good friend and I am looking forward to seeing his work

Being nominated for Best Supporting Role

I am nominated? I am very honoured but I hope dad wins.

Always wanting the Big B to win awards

Dad will win and I want him to because I am not only his son but am also Amitabh Bachchan's biggest fan and I want him to win all the awards.

Working with Mani Rathnam (Yuva & Guru)

It's always an honour to work with Mani Rathnam I think he’s the best we have and it’s always a great experience.

His reputation as a prankster on the sets

I am not a prankster at all, the Bluff Master is actually Rohan Sippy, we actually conned people into watching our film and we made a good job of it.
