Hanan, who currently heads the Dubai Police documentation section, has already produced and directed two documentaries for the police. "My first documentary focused on police ambulances difficulties in rushing injured people to hospital and the other one was to mark Dubai Police 50th anniversary," she said.

The two documentaries have won her a number of awards and merits in several film festivals and competitions. Born and raised in Dubai, Hanan grew up in a household where a camera was always around to document every special moment. At high school she headed the Press club, which was her eye opener for a career in the media.

Upon graduation from Dubai Women's College, she decided to broaden her film production knowledge and experience at the Hollywood film institute in 2007. Hanan is not only passionate with a camera, but the young lady also wants to highlight gender equality.

She is a member of 'Arabyana' a group for the young Emirati women set up in the country as the first all female horse riding team. As for her future career plans, she hopes to establish her own media production company one day and manage a family oriented TV station to tackle and solve family problems.
