There will be seasonal specialties galore at Sezzam, with the popular Santa’s Brunch buffet Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, for Dhs150 per person including soft drinks, water, coffee and tea, or Dhs240 per person including house beverages. ‘Appy Christmas

British cuisine specialists the Rivington Grill will have an exclusive set menu for lunch on Christmas Day served between noon and 5pm.

Priced at Dhs350 per person, the specially created four-course Christmas Day menu will offer a selection of starters including a choice of celery and stilton soup with herbed scone; severn and wye smoked salmon with traditional garnish; or roasted squash, beetroot and goat’s cheese salad with toasted walnuts and cranberries.

The main course will include ‘Kelly Bronze’ roasted turkey and chestnut stuffing with all the trimmings; nut roast and apricot stuffing with trimmings; or pan fried sea-bass with chanterelles and sage.

The other two courses will include a choice of Christmas puddings, sherry trifle; or mince pies in addition to truffles and a choice of Colston Basset stilton cheese or Mont D’Or Vacherin.
