Mohsen, a top official of Charisma events, the main promoters of the event in Dubai told City Times that several fans had already bought their tickets to be on the safe side.
"We had expected about 8000 attendees and planned the tickets accordingly, but it seems more and more people want to attend now," he said.
The artist will be performing at the opening ceremony of the month-long Dubai Shopping Festivals that kicks off on January 25.
"He will be performing alone as we want to give the people of Dubai the maximum they can get from Hosni," Mohsen added.
Among the popular numbers Hosni will perform at the event is Ya Beit el eih, that was released in March 2007.
Other numbers include Enta Wehsny, Makontsh Mebayen and Seeb al Hobb. He will also play his old numbers like Hobb and Arrab habibi that propelled him to fame when it was released in 2004.
A graduate of media studies, Tamer Hosni went on to take up music composing, singing and acting as his profession.
