which was one of the most important topics which was discussed at the Dubai International Film Festival.

This unfavourable artistic scene could affect the vision of some young stars, as can be seen in some youngsters who have decided to devote all their artistic works to the television screen, deserting cinema. We discuss this issue with Norhan who has done just that. The question is whether cinema will miss real actors or actors miss good cinema.

The young star Norhan who has decided to devote her art to television says 'Cinema nowadays is suffering from many problems, so my vision of the working in cinema like many young actors has been disillusioned. In my opinion, cinema has missed a lot of things. Real cinema must aim for constant improvement and changing for the better at everything ... even human morals and society’s ability. I like television because working there is a humbling experience, which in turn earns the audience’s respect.

I love Dubai so much that I am always here on some work or the other and I think the recently concluded film festival was a serious attempt to improve the cinema’s position in the Arabic world, and a very good chance for directors and artistes to gain from cinema’s experienced people from all over the world.

Recently I worked with some Gulf actors in an Arabic serial and found that the actors are quite talented ... I guess there is a lot of talent out there waiting to be tapped.
