DJ SEAMAN COMES TO DUBAI

Just over a week ago, Ohm Records - Dubai's only vinyl distributor and promoter of electronic music - had their Middle East launch of Choo Choo Records. Tomorrow, Ohm Records, 9714 and motionnights are bringing Dave Seaman to Dubai.

So who is Dave Seaman? Well, if you know your progressive from your acid house, then he needs little introduction. For those of you who don't, Seaman "is one half of the respected remixing and production team, Brothers In Rhythm but has established his own credentials as a sought-after house DJ and producer. He has been involved with the famous UK club Renaissance and has been a DJ at most of the major clubs in the world.

Seaman's style of DJing and his work with Brothers In Rhythm became linked with what the music Press labelled "epic house", with DJs such as Sasha and John Digweed at the forefront of the style. Seaman now has his own management company, Therapy, and continues to DJ all over the world. He spent much of 1999 in the USA, being the DJ at clubs as part of a Renaissance US tour. He has also recorded a mix compilation for the Boxed label, reflecting his DJ sets in Argentina-Global Underground 12: Buenos Aries."

So it is quite apt that The Mix, Grand Hyatt - Dubai's largest club will play host to Seaman's Renaissance. The night itself will feature dancers, fire artists, Renaissance visuals, promos and giveaways and percussionists and will transform the venue into a true 'super-club'.

So don't delay. Get down to The Mix. It's going to be big...very big.
