boythe newly-released album of TV's number-one King of Talk.

At the launch, Boy showed everyone how good a host he is by answering the question that was on everyone's minds even before it was asked. "No, I didn't do this as a response to Kris [Aquino, who also released two albums, Songs of Love and Healing and its sequel, Songs of Love and Inspiration]. In fact, it took a long time to convince me to do this because I didn't want to be perceived as trying to do the same thing that Kris did."

That it should be seen as such is not a surprise, because Boy and Kris' albums, while different conceptually, are pretty much the same. Neither Boy nor Kris sings on their respective albums; instead, they lined up some of the best singers in the business to sing songs of their choosing, and which have personal meaning for them. On Boy's album, the line-up of singers includes Martin Nievera, Erik Santos, Aiza Seguerra, Born Diva winner and WCOPA representative Raki Vega, Star in a Million winner Kris Lawrence, Charice Pempengco and Ogie Alcasid. Among the songs on Boy's list are Now and Forever, Tears in Heaven and Don't Worry, Be Happy.
