BiCE Mare will be offering exclusive Sardinian dishes throughout April.

March has focused on specials from Liguria and the next installment will bring a host of different ingredients, dishes and flavours to the restaurant thanks to its 11-strong, all-Italian team.

The Catalonian culture comes through with a selection of dishes including the traditional ‘aragosta all Catalana’ – a warm lobster salad served with red onion, fresh tomato and rocket, traditional Fregoal pasta that is toasted and served with gem lettuce, crab, clams, cherry tomato and an orange dressing, classic Malloredus or Sardinian gnicchetti served Mediterranean style with clams, tomato and porcini mushrooms and traditionally hand-caught tuna simply grilled with lemon and oregano.

‘Bottarga’, a specialty ingredient made of smoked mullet caviar – also known as Sardinian Caviar - will accompany a spaghetti dish made with clams, which is one of the most famous meals from this region.

Legends is now offering a premium bubbly brunch option.

Brunch includes free flow bubbles as well as a starter and dessert buffet with live cooking stations and a la carte main courses. The menu changes weekly and offers a range of dishes, highlights of which include: roast guinea fowl with savoy cabbage and juniper berry sauce, Wagyu beef and prawn kebab with coral cream sauce, beef cheek stew with grilled vegetables and pan fried sea bass with beurre blanc.

The first of PizzaExpress’ new generation restaurants opens on April 4 at Fujairah City Centre.

April also sees the award winning chain launch the first deliciously skinny pizza with less than 500 calories.

Bringing indulgent ingredients back on the menu for calorie-conscious diners, the Leggera pizzas are characterised by a new lighter, crispier dough base, allowing space for previously off-limit toppings including beef pepperoni and goats cheese, while remaining under 500 calories.

From March 26 to April 1, Italian restaurant Al Fresco is offering a selection of sumptuous homemade pastas with a variety of sauces.

Al Fresco’s March promotion enables guests to enjoy a selection of six homemade Italian pasta dishes from the classic, thin tagliatelle and linguine to tasty ravioli packed full with ingredients from across the region. Each dish ranges from Dhs65 to Dhs95 and is made to order.
