The men in green are touring Australia for a three-match Test series, which is also being deemed as David Warner's farewell series
CUADRO FINE ART gallery in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is preparing to showcase a nostalgia-inspired photography series from Nadine Kanso.
The Dubai-based Lebanese artist will unveil ‘Makan fi al Zakerah’ (Memory of a Place) on Tuesday, February 7, and the exhibition will run until March 7.
Within the photos, Kanso captures images of today’s Beirut and highlights, with an eerie familiarity, the resemblances they have with times long past.
Dilapidated buildings in the capital’s older neighbourhoods are juxtaposed with words and images from publications of the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s. Visit www.cuadroart.com.
