Pecker is a key witness in the case against the former US president, who is accused of falsifying business records to cover up hush-money payment
Celebrate Australia day tonight with a bumper party at Le Meridien Dubai, combining fine food, drink and music to honour the land Down Under.
Dubai’s Aussie expats and anyone else who fancies a good time is welcome to join the jamboree – commemorating the first 11 convict ships landing on Australian shores from Britain in 1788.
Fittingly, the Meridien Village Terrace restaurant will be serving all manner of barbecue food, as well as a veggie option.
Entertainment on the night will be provided by Brisbane brothers Zane Penn and Ty Penshorn – two longtime rockers who have supported the likes of Mick Jagger and boast a huge setlist of classics from the land of plenty.
City Times spoke to Zane, flying in especially for the show, and Ty, a Dubai resident (but for not much longer).
