The region's premier youth TV channel dubs the show as the most grueling test of friendship —an institution which young girls today value as much as any family ties. After a rigorous selection process, the channel has selected eight pairs of highly friendly, hip, and trendy contestants from across the UAE who vouch that theirs is the strongest bond.

So are these young girls really as close as they claim? Zee Arabiya has brought in a new Lebanese-Australian host, Sirine Dimachkie, to help answer precisely this question. Leading contestants through this trial by fire, Sirine will test each contestant on her knowledge of her best friend's preferences, emotional and psychological reactions to a host of embarrassing or stressful situations, as well as future plans.

Beginning from May 5th, each Saturday, Sa7bat- The challenge will showcase two pairs of best-friends per episode. Once all the pairs are revealed, the challenge will be made open to the public for sms voting as two pairs are selected to battle it out for the winning title of the best 'best friends' in the UAE.
