Further explained Hussain, “The Schools' Numbers event can be easily located in the mall. Set in the backdrop of colourful numbers and wooden boards, the activity is being held on the main stage of the mall where two MCs quiz kids on their mathematical skills. At a time two children can participate. The child who answers all questions correctly gets a Modhesh bag containing a good supply of stationeries. Children between the age of six to 12 years can participate. The activity brushes up on mathematical skills of kids as they head back to school. To sum it up it is an easy and interesting way of learning in a challenging and entertaining atmosphere,” he said.
“Another main activity in Reef Mall is the Modhesh Bag Competition. It is being held on the first floor of the Mall. For this activity two teams of two children each participate, they form the blue and pink respectively. The object of the contest is to put together the team colour's Modhesh Puzzle Bag quickly. The first team to finish up wins and gets the prize, which is a school bag containing school supplies. Twenty gifts are being distributed daily to the winners of these 30 minute competitions,” he added.
“The Traditional Tent is situated on the first floor of the mall. Here kids can engage in face painting and henna designing activities by paying Dh5. All proceeds collected by the merchandise sold and services availed at the tent will be donated to Beit Al Kheir Association and will be used to support the underprivileged, orphans, and people in need across the Emirates,” he pointed out.
