ashAsh's business manager Harri Singh and confidante of over 20 years adds: "Aishwarya is not pregnant. The media news is false and irresponsible. Before writing on such personal issues the media must get their facts correct. This is the correct thing that City Times is doing from Dubai. Checking the true facts before reporting. This is called responsible and credible journalism, not to misguide the people with false news."

He confirms: "It is true that Aishwarya has signed the film Pink Panther 2. At present she is completing Akbar Jodha and Sarkar 2 and will start shooting for Pink Panther 2 from September."

Aishwarya has a spate of movies to complete before she can even think of starting a family says her publicist. She has yet to start the Karan Johar- Tarun Mansukhani film, then Sarkar Raj, Raaste and now Pink Panther 2. The sequel will also star Andy Garcia and John Cleese.

Laughs the production chief of Akbar-Jodha, "I think it all began when Aishwarya walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, in her white designer dress where her slight paunch was showing! Just then she had also given a quote to the media saying that she had no immediate plans to give up her successful acting career, although she was looking forward to having children at some time."

He adds, "I think what sparked off the rumours even further was the episode when Ash nearly collapsed while shooting for Akbar Jodha. You see she was rushing from one place to the other dubbing for Sarkar 2 and shooting for our film and I think the work tension took its toll on her!"

He stresses, "Of Course these stories of her expecting a child have caused havoc in the industry as billions have been invested in her films which are either on the floors or about to begin. "
