"It's not just music lovers from the Middle East but from all over the world who can cast their votes till two days prior to the show being held at the Dubai Convention Centre on May 15. The online polling closes on May 13 but voting through SMS, which opens in the first week of May, will continue till the awards presentation," says Ziad Batel, Executive Producer of the Arabian Music Awards adding, "To ensure security, top accountancy firm, Ernst & Young will tally the votes. Neither the Arabian Music Academy nor the producers of the show will be aware of the outcome.

"We want everyone to get involved in this democratic voting process. Surprisingly, we are getting more inquiries from the U.S. and other countries driving the point home that music has no borders. We are anticipating a huge response from all over the world," says Ziad.

"Now you can say the battle has commenced to find the ultimate performers from the Arab region, which includes the likes of Mohammed Abdo, Kazem Al Saher, Amro Diab, Saber Al Robai, Ahlam, Abdelmajid Abdallah, Cheb Mami, Najwa Karam, Elissa, Asala Nasri, Latifa, Shereen Wajdi, Angham, Ragheb Alama, Nabil Shueil, Fadel Shaker, Rashed Al Majed and many more," he said.

The winners of the Arabian Music Awards will be presented with their prizes at a glittering ceremony broadcast live by MBC, the Official Broadcaster, and terrestrial TVs from Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Senegal, for three hours to millions of viewers across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia on the awards presentation day featuring international celebrity presenters and live performances by leading Arab and International artists.
