Ankita Lokhande, Ekta Kapoor to pay tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput with 'Pavitra Rishta 2'?

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, actress Ankita Lokhande is keen on reprising the popular television series Pavitra Rishta, in which she co-starred alongside Sushant Singh Rajput.
She reportedly wants to pay tribute to the late actor through the show and has approached producer Ekta Kapoor for the possibility of a new season.
Pavitra Rishta was released in 2009 and in over 1400 episodes, chronicled the love story of Ankita and Sushant's characters.
"The show was close to Sushant's heart as it gave him the platform to scale new heights and both Ekta and Ankita feel that a new season will be the best tribute to the deceased actor," a source revealed to Mumbai Mirror.
Ekta liked the idea and will decide how to take it forward, as per reports.
