Amid cancer speculations, Rishi Kapoor opens up about health

He is currently in the US for treatment.

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor announced in September that he is headed to the US for treatment and will be away for a while. 
As soon as the news broke out, speculations about him suffering from cancer started doing the rounds. His brother, actor Randhir Kapoor, rubbished these talks in an interview with Hindustan Times. 
Now, Rishi Kapoor has opened up about his illness in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. 
"My treatment is on, hopefully, I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtue," he responded from New York. 
The actor says he has put aside his acting career for the moment, "Thankfully, I am not thinking about films anymore, just want to be blank and refresh myself with a more relaxed mind. This break shall be therapeutic for me."
