The show, which has lined up a host of fun and extreme entertainments for the entire family, will run until August 27 at the basement level of the mall.

As part of the Onam celebrations in the country, the Onachantha-Keralafest has been showcasing an exciting range of cultural activities, family entertainments, exclusive Onam-specified shopping offers and delicious Kerala cuisines.

The fest has been a grand festival of togetherness for the expatriate Keralite community living in the UAE for the last five consecutive years. The non-stop activities will take place at the basement level of Ansar Mall between 7pm and 11pm during the carnival. People who want to join the celebrations can enter into the venue for free.

Performance of artistes, stars and celebrities from film and music industries, road shows by popular radio and TV channels, staging folk arts and Onam-themed cultural and entertainment elements, prize-winning competitions, stalls offering rock bottom prices on Onam specified goods, big value bumper prizes, worthwhile service pavilions, restaurants with traditional Kerala dishes will feature.

Over 50 stalls, selling various items of specific interest to the non-resident Keralites, will be arranged at the Onachantha venue. The value-added stalls are dedicated themselves to give away attractive offers, free sampling of different products, discounts on vegetables, fruits and other food-stuffs, fabulous gifts and daily mega prizes to the visitors.

An exotic array of Keralite gourmet and culinary delights are served up at the exclusive food court set up at the venue to taste, cherish and savour the spicy and sweet ethnic delicacies.

Apart from the grand raffle draws, promotions, in-store bargains for shoppers, there are several interesting angles to this carnival, including special counters for free medical check-up, eye test and Ayurvedic consultations. Different pavilions giving matrimonial service, property consultancy and educational advice will be other major attractions of the Kerala Fest. At the property pavilion, leading property developers, real estate groups, investment groups and financial service providers will offer big deals and easy registration procedures.
