British songstress Adele won the best original song Oscar on Sunday for 007 movie theme tune “Skyfall,” at the 85th Academy Awards on Sunday.
The Grammy-winning singer, who teared up as she gave a short acceptance speech with co-writer Paul Epworth, sang the song earlier in the show in a segment paying tribute to the 50th anniversary of James Bond movies.
The 24-year-old Adele managed to say “This is amazing” before breaking down early into her thank-yous and handing over to Epworth, who said he could not “really believe I’m up here to receive this.”
“You’re all amazing as well!” Adele shouted to the audience as she left the stage.
