Actress Rhea Chakraborty files police complaint after rape, murder threats

The actress has been receiving a lot of hate online after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Actress Rhea Chakraborty has officially filed a complaint against two Instagram accounts for sending her obscene and threatening messages. The complaint has been registered at Santacruz Police Station in Mumbai, according to a report in The Times of India.
Rhea had also named and shamed one of the online culprits by posting a screenshot on her Instagram handle a few days ago, tagging @cyber_crime_helpline and @cybercrimeindia in her caption to take necessary action.
On Saturday, Maharashtra Women and Child Development Minister Yashomati Thakur said strict action would be taken against the accused.
Rhea has been at the receiving end of a lot of flak and hate online in the wake of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, with whom she was reportedly in a relationship.
